[Strand Brewing Company] ARTIST SERIES- Third Fridays at Strand- August 16th

Strand Third Fridays!
Every third Friday of the month, we turn our
 brewery into an art gallery
 that showcases one local artist.
We are so excited to announce that this Friday,
August 16th, we will be featuring
 local artist Jeff Poe.
Jeff is a photographer based out of
Manhattan Beach. He has been traveling
with his camera since before college
and has been printing his work
for over 15 years. Shooting everything
 from wild landscapes
 to surreal night portraits,
Jeff seeks out the challenge of
capturing the perfect moment.
Sunset Pier
Many of you will recognize his work
of all of our favorite stomping
 grounds as he’s been featured
 in a myriad of magazines,
 and graced the walls
 of many prominent local businesses.
We hope to see you this Friday, August 16th from 4pm to 9pm.
Del’s Fish Tacos will be on sight slangin’ the worlds best fish tacos.

[Strand Brewing Company] Brad is leaving. Long live Brad!

Please join us in sending our sweet Brad off to Oregon.
He has been with us since the beginning and we are sad to see him go.
To say Brad has been an imperative piece of the puzzle here at Strand would be an understatement. He is family.

Show up any time after noon and give him a high five, a stern talking to, or some sage advice.

Join us this Friday for our Artist Series.

Every third Friday, we turn our Tap Room into an art gallery featuring local artists in a one-night-only, blink-and-its-gone experience. With concurrent themes of local craft supporting local craft and giving a large voice to artists from the area, we cherish our role to as a communal hub in the South Bay.

David Harris is a Screenwriter by trade and a Multi-Media artist by passion. His work has been featured in the Resin Gallery, Art Share DTLA, Radiant Space Hollywood, and the Ego Gallery. He delivers a raw and frenetic glimpse into the dualistic mind: equal parts simplistic joy of bringing life into the everyday mundane and the sadistic curiosity in watching it all burn.

Strand’s Third Fridays is every third Friday from 4pm to 9pm. The works are for show and sale, with details given by the artist on site. The showing is free to attend with food and beer available for purchase.
